Oberweis: Early voting a good option for voters concerned about health risks

For Immediate Release

Sugar Grove, IL – State Senator and candidate for Congress in the 14th District, Jim Oberweis is reminding voters that early voting will run through Nov. 2nd in Illinois.

“Voting on Election Day is a long-standing tradition for our country, but with the pandemic and other concerns, early voting is a viable alternative,” Oberweis said. “For those who still want to vote on Election Day, polls open at 6 am. It is encouraged that people with health concerns go during non-peak times to vote such as late morning and early afternoon to avoid crowds. And if there is the slightest chance you might not be able to go vote on Election Day or if you have health concerns, then voting early is a good option to consider.”
